At precisely 10 pm the gas lanterns go on and the entire square is lit with them. It is the only town in France illuminated by gas lamps which causes the warm limestrone to glow a soft amber color.
We walk where people during and after the Hundred Year's War walked. Keeping these dates in mind is...well...."mind-boggling"
