Ahh...the life of the tourist...should we take the hot air balloon ride...or the boat ride?
Needless to say, we opted for the boat ride on the smooth green Dordogne River.
Our long time friends and traveling companions are ready here, and we hope they are not hiding the desire to throw us overboard (yet) ... we have a few more weeks on this trip
Oh, yes, the tour commentary was in French, so we have no idea what we saw or the many details he gave. I figured I could understand about every 17th word, and most of them were prepositions...
The swans appeared as if on cue which added to this "fairyland" of castles.
