French Cuisine: Part One

A picture is worth a thousand words....or make that calories!\
And notice, the title of this blog is "French Cuisine...Part ONE"  rest assured, there will be more photos of food..so there will be "Part TWO...Part THREE...etc" as this has become our nightly ritual before eating.

This was our first pastisserie choice---Steve, the eclair (he couldn't wait for the bite before the camera was out) and Cindy the fruit tartlette. 
 
 

Those are mashed purple potatoes, and yellow and purple carrots..
