This 12th century Romanesque church was built short and wide to fit the rocky terrain. The center chapel was partially carved out of the rock.
This is the town's traditional Provencal processional chariot which is stored at the church. Each Christmas Eve, a ram pulled this cart, holding a lamb, symbolizing Jesus surrounded by candles through the town to the church.
But for us this summer night---the church was the site of the wedding of our friend, Jenna Fagnan.
