Paris: Buildings

Aahh....famous buildings of Paris...from Notre Dame...to the Pompidou Center (the Museum of Modern Art) which Rick Steves describes as "created ahead of its time, the 20th century art in this collection is still waiting for the world to catch up" to which I would add not just the art INSIDE the building...but the building itself with its functional parts all on the outside...a sharp contrast to the beautiful historic architecture of most of the rest of Paris.
