From La Rochelle to Isle of Re

From the port city of La Rochelle we drove to and around the Isle of Re.  As you can tell from the series of photos, we saw a variety of land and water sites....from wild poppy fields, salt marshes, vineyards, oyster farms, estuaries, mud flats, wheat fields, sunflower fields..to the Atlantic Ocean 

 

 

 

 

You can barely make out the over 2-mile bridge from La Rochelle to Isle of Re which we crossed
